Not sure where to post this but because I tried almost everything except change the MOBO and CPU I will post here to see if there are any other suggestions.

I will be posting the old problem I used to have and the following suggestions that I tried that did not solve the problem

All of my old threads from the original problem

    Old Problem:
Computer will freeze daily during gaming, streaming, at desktop, pretty much anywhere.

    Solution:
The solution that we came up with was that it was a bad core in the CPU, so I went into BIOS and disabled two of the cores. Just like that it seemed fixed, but now I have been running into it again. Albeit a lot less frequently than before, but the same problem nonetheless.

    Current Problem:
Computer will randomly freeze every 2-3 weeks sometimes even shorter.

    Things I have tried:
I haven't tried many things this time around because it hasn't been bothering me as much as it used to but I would like to know what's causing it.

    Specs:
    Windows 8.1 64 bit
16GB Corsair Vengeance memory 1600hz Stock
    Gigabyte GA 990FXA-UD5
    GTX 660 Superclocked Stock
    FX8350 Stock

Solution
Since disabling two cores seemed to have some effect, I suspect the cpu is bad.
It has a 3 year warranty, I would RMA it.
Before you do, check that all the cpu pins are ok and not bent.
