Would the triple fans be better for sli or would the blower?

Well, the triple fan cooler would be better, but with NVidia's cards it's best to get exactly the same GPU for SLI, there may be compatibility issues with differing cards even if it's the "same" card. I hear the reference coolers on NVidia are good, so you should be all right. Maybe sell the old one and buy two new ones? Lotta choices.

For an SLI setup, you're better off going with a blower style card like your current MSI GTX 770 Gaming http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ENU2K7O. SLI setups get hot and fast, especially for the card in the first PCI-e lane since it has reduced airflow.

The blower style coolers do a much better job of pushing cold air over the GPU and hot air out the back of the case which keeps the inside of the case from recycling hot air. If you have a LOT of airflow already inside your case you could get away with an aftermarket cooler but you're probably still better off getting another of the same blower-style card that you already have since the faster card will down-clock to match speed of the lower clocked card.
