I build a new computer and bought the TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 wireless adapter and The Belkin AC1000 DB router. My internet is always at 3 bars. I frequently get disconnected and cannot play any online games such as League of Legends and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I even have trouble loading browser tabs and watching youtube videos.

One time when I couldn't load a youtube video I put my laptop right in front of my monitor and watched the whole video without any problems and I can watch netflix in HD on my tv so I don't think it's the router. I can play League of Legends on my laptop.

What is the problem? I think it is my wireless adapter but I wanted to know what other people thought. Should I replace the wireless adapter? I don't really want to buy another one.

Anyone? If I return this adapter should I get the same one assuming this one was a dud or get a different brand? What are some good wireless adapters that aren't to expensive?

Thanks
