Hey i currently bought a 2 tb seagate 3.5" hdd to add as a second hdd into my current pc. I'm not to sure how i get it to actually fit in my bay, my current hdd has 2 plastic clips that screw on to each side of the current hdd and then you just slide it in so i assume my bay is also just about 3.5". The new hdd won't just fit into the bay though without those clips and I don't have extras or haven't been able to find any online (although I'm not too sure what I'm actually looking for). So my question is really how would i go about installing this new hdd? it doesn't matter if they match or anything I'll take any kind of mounting unit to go but I don't know what I'm actually looking for. Most of the mounting brackets I see say 2.5" to 3.5" or 3.5" to 5.5" and all i want is someway to get it to stay put in my current bay which is just about the same size.

Thanks in advance

Can you give us a link to your case? Or to a similar one with the same type of HDD mounting clips?

I've had computers which included a similar plastic clip which you describe, but only for one bay. The other bays used standard screws to mount the drive (there should be 2 holes on each side of the drive that line up with the bay holes.) If this isn't how your case is set up, a picture or other detailed information would be great.

Checked newegg, couldn't find them, That website seems reputable, although I have never personally ordered from them.
