the main problem of using a hot dual GPU card like the 590 doesn't stop at it's 500W power usage though:

You are actually using an SLI system, just it's all wired on the same board. you'll be prone to microstutter just like any other SLI system:

Worse, for games that do not properly support SLI, you'll drop down to a single gtx 580 performance. which, while good, isn't really top-notch by modern standards.

a hot card like the 590 will also cause your entire case to be hotter, all your fans will spin faster to compensate, making your system noisier (whether you care or not I don't know, just a warning :)
the two intel CPUs are about equal, the 3470 is slightly better

as for the Gpu, the gtx 590 is CLEARLY better, but it is a huge power-hog, and spits out tons of heat, you'll need to have the right PSU and case to handle it

Get a newer system, like a core i5-4460 with an H97 motherboard, a Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x for Battlefield 4 at Ultra 1080p. It would run at 60 fps on a mix of Ulra/High if it is overclocked, and maybe 50 fps Ultra full at stock / slight overclock. Great card.

4460: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117302
H97: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157511
270X: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125476

To me, it seems that the 590 and the i5 2500k runs better than the parts you recommended?
