Hi, so I'm planning to build myself a gaming PC and so I came here for advice. I've come up with my current choices:
MSI Z97 PC Mate + i5-4590 $411
WD Caviar Blue 7200 1TB (2+1Yr) $73
G-Skill RipJawX 1600MHz CL9 $117
MSI GTX760 TF Gaming 2GB DDR5 OC $409
CMaster V550S 550W 80+ Gold Modular (5Yrs) $129
CM HAF 912 (Advanced) w/USB 3.0 $139
Viewsonic 19.5” VA2046M LED Monitor $135
MS Windows 8.1 (64bit) OEM ~$125
Total: $1538
*The prices are all in SGD, and I got them from here: http://fuwell.com.sg/uploads/misc/Fuwell210614.pdf

I will include my preferences below, and SGD1538 is definitely over my budget. But I rather pay $100 extra for a good build that I can use for a long time rather than cutting cost and ending up spending even more upgrading. I do have a couple of questions though:
How do I know if a 550W PSU is enough for this build?
I was thinking between the GTX760 and the 270x, the price difference is SGD80. Is it worth it for me to pay this additional 80 bucks?
I don't know much about cases, is this case I chose necessary? As in, can I go for another case that can save me some cash?
Please let me know if there is any part I can replace to cut some extra cost. Thank you!

You don't need a z version motherboard because the cpu is an overclocking version. And you don't need to overclock for gaming.
The rest looks great. I like the graphics card and the case. Maybe buy some thermal paste.
