MSI GeForce GTX 770 TWINFROZR (2-way SLI) or MSI GeForce GTX 780 ti TWINFROZR (maybe a 2-way SLI in the future)

Okay so I'm building a rather expensive PC.
Specs currently are:

CPU: Intel i-7 4790k
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero
Memory: 24GB RAM
Video Cards: I need help deciding!
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (64-bit)
Storage: 120GB SSD and 2 hard drives, 1x 1TB and 1x 2TB
Cooling: Corsair H100i + 9 fans.

So onto the actual question!
Would it be better to run 2 MSI GeForce GTX 770 4gb TWINFROZR cards or 1 MSI GeForce GTX 780ti 3gb cards? With a possibility of an SLI in the future?
I'm hoping to be able to run games at Ultra High graphic settings.
Games such as, Battlefield 4, Arma 2 & 3, Titanfall, Spintires, etc.
I also hope to be able to run programs such as Photoshop and MODO.

I'm also stuck between if I want to run a monitor with 2560 x 1440p resolution or a standard 1920 x 1080p resolution. I know 2560 is nicer but is it really worth it? Would I really see a difference? Monitor is 27" by the way. For the price of it, the 770's are only $200 more than 1 780ti. About $800 for the 2 way setup. If I were to 2 way SLI the 780ti's, totalling around $1300, that's quite a bit of a jump for those cards. As for overclocking and tampering, I probably wouldn't do it very much until I learn more about it. Computer would be run at factory settings for a while until I trusted myself with messing with all the voltage and such.

Which would be better for running a 2560 x 1440p monitor?
MSI GeForce GTX 770 4GB (2- way SLI) or an MSI GeForce GTX 780ti 3GB (with possible SLI in 6-12 months after purchase of the first one.)

Or should I just go with a 1920 x 1080p monitor?
If so, which cards would be best for this?

Total price of the build including everything (headset, mouse, keyboard, speakers, all the games, etc) is around $3362 with the 2560 x 1440p monitor. Tower itself is around $2700 with the 770's.
This is my first build, I hope to do it right and come out with a tank of a machine. If I ask a lot of questions I apologize, thanks a lot!

I have the same problem . I think the 780ti is a better option unless you already have a 770 like I do. I will probably leave my 770 in my old computer and build all new tho. 780ti is way better architecture and prices are coming down.
