I have a laptop that was charging with a 90w power adapter but i found that laptop need 120w so i change to a 120w adapter.
But now the laptop heat a lot and i like to know if i replace the thermal paste and the computer heat anyway what could i do to fix it. Because if thermal paste dont fix the heat then the laptop heat from the months that was charging with 90w adaptor. Thanks

How hot is hot? Laptops are quite happy at 90 degrees, they're designed for it.

If your old hcarger was not providing enough power it's likely that your CPU and/or GPU were throttling. Now they are getitng enough power they are running at the intended speed. That's conjecture though.
