Hello Friends:
New here, need your expert comments. Have a broadband Internet connection for my office which keeps on going down quite often, which is very disturbing for work.
Office is connected on LAN, and computers do not have WIFI cards, so all desktops are connected by LAN wires for Internet. So need your advise on below
- Plan to buy a TATA Docomo Photon connection (not sure which one to buy Max or 3g or etc) and want that to be connected to my Router which is connect to the LAN in office. However my router does not have a USB port, so need to know is there a way still to connect the Tata Photon to my router (Maybe through a RJ45 to USB cable) or the only option is to buy a new router with USB port. Secondly after I buy a new router, will the TATA Photon connection work if connected to a USB port in the router, and how to set this up?
- Secondly, is it possible to keep both the connections connected simultaneously to the router and when one goes down the other can be automatically used? Or any switch to change over to the live connection? Don't want every time to change settings in the router.
I Cannot leave my broadband connection cause its giving me good speed/packaged at a good price. Only disadvantage is that it keeps going down off sometimes, and most of our work is over the internet.
Your candid comments awaited. And hoping I have a solution to this.
Best Regards
Gskhanna
