having only a d-sub(analog) port, wont have such a good picture quality. that would be really a drawback when reading texts and gererally sufing on internet. while gaming it wont be that noticable. it is a 1080 monitor afterall with tn panel 5ms whch is enough for gaming and you can stick to it if you already have.if you are looking to purchasing it dont, there are a lot better options - any monitor with a dvi-d / hdmi port
ok guys thank you so much for the replys! Anyone know any monitors for 95 pounds or less you see this is my budget, it cant be converted from dollars to pounds as in america they are alot cheaper

no i havent but viewsonic is a reputable brand and the specs as very good for the money. these are tipical monitor specs and since it has a digital i/o you are good to go.it also has speakes. the only thing you have to do is to buy a DVI - D cable(in case you dont have one)cause it is rarely included at this price range monitors.
