Does my laptop's video card / accelerator support this cable?

My laptop:
Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Li 2735

All I'm looking for is to display my laptop screen on my TV.
I have VGA output on laptop, and only HDMI input on TV.

The cable doesn't need to produce audio, since I've separate speakers.

It specifically says on the ebay ad that my laptop's video card must support digital signal output through VGA port function. Can it?

So by digital signal output, it is just referring to the VGA output being able to transfer video images? Am I correct in saying this?
