After reformatting from Windows 8 to Windows 7, do I need to do anything else?

Hi guys,

I recently reformatted my laptop from a Windows 8.1 to a Windows 7 (my laptop was bought as Windows 8) and I was just wondering if I need to do anything else after that?

I have already downloaded all drivers and updated all of them also, but is there something I need to do so that my laptop would FULLY integrate Windows 7?

Or is my laptop okay now?

If everything is running fine and all your drivers installed, it sounds like you are good to go. I don't recommend fixing something that's not broke. Enjoy it! Use it for a while and see if any issues pop up.

That's the problem.... I think something's wrong with my laptop cause it's new reformatted but it takes so long to boot, usually when PCs or Laptops are newly reformatted they should be running fast right? Also, my laptop doesn't take it easy to load things like folders or from windows explorer.

I reformatted on May so I don't think that this is one of the 'first few boots'

When you go into the device manager are there any unknown devices? Also keep in mind Win 7 will take longer to boot than Win 8. May I ask why you downgraded? Is the laptop a touch screen? What is the model #?
