Put simply,
No mantle@High settings= sometimes 30fps on some maps :/
With mantle@High settings= never really lower than 70fps :s

So I dont really think mantle should help that much but it does :/ .
I want to record bf4 but I am currently unable to due to it using mantle instead of DX11.

Any idea why these low frame rates might be occurring? :s

PC SPECS:
AMD FX 8320 8 core @ 4.00Ghz
8GB 1600MHz RAM
AMD Radeon 7870 GHz edition (OCed slightly cos why not)
1.5GB of storage space (HDD)

More about : bf4 low fps whilst mantle

Slow processor + a decent video card = Exactly what Mantle is designed to help. Does the AMD Game DVR stuff not work with Mantle? I haven't used it much to know for sure.

I was under the impression my processor was pretty decent :s at least for multi-tasking and I would have though it to handle games well :s

Thanks for the heads up on game DVR will try some stuff out with that :)

We are hardly talking about a slow processor here,... did you try with latest drivers?

I'm on the latest non beta ones so 14.4 but 14.6 BETA is available .... not sure if I should get it as the 14.2 beta version used to give me blue screens :/
