Hello, I have recovered this two great options as I will build my gaming PC recycling spare RAM, hard disk, motherboard and crate.

My goal is to play virtually any game with high settings, no antialias, but anisotropic yes. I will encode and edit video on a regular, but not strict base. This is why I am struggling alot to choose my parts, because everyone have a different opinion on how Intel or AMD performs better here, no matter core count. (Resolution will be 1366x768).

The AMD option:

The Intel and nVidia option:

Also any suggestion will help. Thanks in advance.

If your prime usage is encoding, the 8 core fx build is better.
If your prime use is gaming, the more effective intel cores will be better.

Neither, those prices are too high for the parts you're getting. Almost your same preferences as the 2nd set, but with a better Haswell CPU, similar 1150 motherboard, and a GTX760 for the same price as those two.

The cheapest GTX 760 is 225€ in Spain. Too bad im not englishman, you seems to have way better prices than us :(  By the way my budget is really limited. I can't spend more money than those in my pictures.

That's the problem, I plan on doing both.

In that case I'd mix the three. You have an 1155 i5 in the 2nd set, but you should be able to get an equal 1150 i5 and motherboard for the same price out of my suggestion, then add the 270x from the 1st set. New slot mb, i5, and a card that's faster than the GTX660.

The GTX660 was a solid choice performance/$ a year ago when I bought mine, but at basically the same price as they were a year ago there are better choices now.
