The motherboard is not overclockable so your overclocking CPU won't do much good on it. Other than that, everything else looks compatible.

You can go with the Z97-HD3 version of that motherboard.

Note: you can still run the CPU on that motherboard, but you cannot overclock it. It's just a waste of money to buy a feature that you won't use.

WD Green series of hdds are meant for storage. running the OS on it will really slow down the system. You should be getting a z97 or z87 motherboard or a non k cpu.
