can a pentium processor do minecraft

I have just got a new laptop, and I have pentium processor! And although I know pentium isn't very good I would still like minecraft on my computer. If any knows is pentium can handle minecraft, and tell me I will be most appreciative!

A lot of people say that Miecraft runs on anything. Well, I know someone who has a laptop with a sandy bridge i5 and he cant run at more than 20 fps on the integrated Intel HD. So I would actually say that you cant run it.

Minecraft runs on about any processor, I know my Core 2 Duo could handle it, as well as a Dual-Core G4 (Before they went Intel only). The real bottleneck will be with what graphics processor your laptop has. Anything with 512MB and above, and Minecraft should be okay.
