Is there a way I can make another user account without having all the other programs that are installed on another account? For example 1 user has Canon printer software installed, but when making a new account, it would have it too.
Thanks.

You did select the option to install those programs only for the current user and not all users. Otherwise all users would have the program shortcut icons on their Start Menus. You can add those shortcuts to their Start Menu>All Programs by putting them in the All Users Start Menu.

Does it not have the other software on it due to it not being listed as an administrator? Is that why all the other programs were showing up?

Right-click on "All Programs" button on the Start Menu and choose "Open" to get to the user-specific Start Menu folder. Choose "Open All Users" to get to the system-wide Start Menu folder.

Or %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu for user-specific folder and
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu for All Users.

Well the case is, the pc has one user that was on there from the beginning. But when I create another user it will have all the same stuff on it, even using my own windows account. When I enter task manager and navigate to the startup section, here I can enable and disable programs to automatically start up when I boot up the pc, but there's nothing in it, and says there's no programs in there. I'd say it has to be possible to almost have a fresh user that's system is 100% clean for them, without having programs from other users pre-installed?
