Hi everyone,
I'll just get to the point. Between these 2 setups, which would perform better in high end gaming and light graphics applications like Auto-CAD and Solid works.

Rig 1:
i5-4440
ASRock H81M-HDS
R7 265 2GB
Kingston HyperX 4GB 1600
WD Caviar Blue 500 GB
Zalman ZM500-LE 500W

Rig 2:
FX-6300
MSI 790A-G46
R9 270 2GB
Kingston HyperX 4GB 1600
WD Caviar Blue 500 GB
Zalman ZM500-LE 500W

I realize that some of these components may seem outdated to you, but that's what's available around here (Egypt) within my budget.
Both these setups costs about the same here, and I can't decide between the Intel with a bit lower graphics card, or the AMD with a more powerful card, so your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
For gaming, the i5-4440 is a much stronger cpu.

The difference between the R9-270 and R7-265 is relatively small.

Past that, in the future it is easier to upgrade the graphics card than the cpu.
