My current 4 year old system is getting long in the tooth and I'm looking to build a new one, I see a couple new products set to be released this fall that I am interested in, and October/November time frame for getting a new system doesn't seem too bad. My only worry is the products I'm interested in will be pushed back or initially released with a heavy price tag premium.
Normally I don't follow hardware releases so I can't say if its reasonable to expect to be able to purchase these products so close to their rumored release dates.

Haswell-E CPU i7-5820K
X99 motherboard
DDR4 memory
Nvidea maxwell GPU 880 or 870 GTX

Is it reasonable to expect to build a system with these components this Fall?

5820K is going to be great. Forgot about how it is 6 cores versus the 4820K's 4 cores. It is even a little bit overkill, but for rendering, it is amazing. Get that, a good X99 mobo, and a GTX 880 or two. That will be amazing.

Thanks Andrew,
Is there a strong justification for waiting for the Broadwell-DT over the Haswell-E? I feel there is strong justification in waiting for the Haswell-E vrs Haswell in that it will be using DDR4 and has 6CPU's at a reasonable price.
Also do new components typically come out at a high premium and low volumnes when first introduced, or is that unlikely to be a major problem for these products this fall?
