how to get two different audios to go to TV and to my headphones at the same time

I love to project netflix from my computer onto my TV through an HDMI cable, but i also like to play video games while netflix is being projected. Is there anyway that I can project Netflix and its audio through the TV, but then keep the audio from the video game going through my headphones?

Ever since Windows Vista, Microsoft has limited the number of active audio outputs to one. I have not seen any third party software that allows you to select more than one active audio device.

What about the option within Realtek Audio Manager to allow the front and back outputs to play two different audio streams simultaneously? If you configure a specific app to use one device aside from the default device (streaming netflix via Media Center, and setting the front audio for media center) then wouldn't that work?
