Do you mean you have two OS's on separate partitions on the same drive? If you want to remove Windows, you can just delete it from Ubuntu. If you want to remove Ubuntu, you can delete it from Windows, but then you have to restore the MBR to boot Windows. Let us know what you are trying to do.
