i7 4790k work with GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 ?

Hi guys i have a question, Im still looking for mainboards and i really want to use the i7 4790k for my cpu but i dont know if the gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (mainboard) will support the i7 4790k

This motherboard does support 4th and 5th generation Intel processors, so the i7-4790K would be fine.

You don't need to update BIOS drivers to make your i7 4790k work with z97 and h97 chipsets, for these chipsets are made for the haswell refresh processors and also the 5th gen.

So yes, you can just install it on your motherboard right out of the box
