I'm looking to get a replacement 18.5-19inch LCD screen for an AOC monitor. As well as a 22inch LCD screen for an Acer.

Is there any places that sell cheap screens? Or would i have to go dry and replace them as a whole? I just got them, Acer was 2nd hand and AOC was from Newegg, refurbished, and missing parts- the screen cracked after i put the parts* on and decided to crack during use and die. The Acer lost its face in my frustration of dealing with newegg.

*manufacturer sent me the parts so i could stand the monitor up.

Hello,

You should try to buy some new monitors; the displays in their new state are expensive, and for the second-hand ones you have no knowledge of their history (how many hours did they worked and in which conditions). Also, there is no way to tell for how long the old monitors will last, even if you would change the display and all the capacitors.

Do you have any suggestions for a place that would sell monitors for under 50$? around 20inch?

Was hoping to replace the screens just to save some money.
Age and all that isnt much issue the AOC 19inch is pretty much brandnew, and the Acer is pretty decent shape, they both worked wonderfully but yeah Im low on cash and just need to know what is a good approach and where could i look

Unfortunately, I really don't know any other source than Newegg, Amazon, Ebay and the likes. In my country there are many second-hand dealers, but newer generation monitors are scarce, as they are expensive to repair.

Maybe you can try to contact the manufacturer of that display and to find if they have a dealership in your country.
