I am going to sell my gaming PC after 1.5 years because it would be cheaper for me to just sell it and buy a new computer part for part and it would be my first PC build. Some of my components are also outdated so I was planning on upgrading but then I came up with this idea.

Specs:
Intel Core i3-3220
MSI B75MA-P45
Corsair XMS3 8GB
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" (Two of those)
MSI GeForce GTX 650 1GB
Corsair 300R Mid Tower
Corsair CX 430W
Samsung DVD/CD Writer
Microsoft Windows 8 64 Bit
BenQ GL2250 21.5" Monitor (1920x1080)

The whole set cost me 1150$ (From 7000 Norwegian crowns)

I have a spare budget computer that is almost exactly the same, only difference is the case/power supply. It cost me $750 canadian at the time. Tried selling it for 4 months at $450-500 (only was used for 200-300 hours at most then) and only got some inquiries. It's in a bad price range to try to sell it for a decent price.

For $250-350 people grab walmart pcs. For anything above $600 they can make better ones or buy prebuilts with better specs now. People also hate having no warranty and when they buy used they want a deal :p

So for now, I'm just holding on to it. Thinking about trying to sell the motherboard/cpu and then get a new set to put in, but I'm fine for money so not worried about selling it either.

To answer your question. If you can get 50% of what you paid for it, I would take that.
