Hey community!

So here's my doubt, when i used to turn on my PC a little prompt used to appear telling me something like, "4 cores are activated!", now i updated my bios and that no longer appears, just a blank space, is that a problem?
Sorry for my ignorance! and thanks in advance.

Specs:
Asus M5A78L LE
AMD Radeon HD 6870
AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 955
G Skill RipjawsX F3-12800CL9-2GB

Solution
shouldn't be an issue. that was prob referring to the ability to activate deactivated cores on chips like the Phenom ii x3 chips. If you are concerned run CPU-z and also Open Hardware monitor. CPU-z will tell you the CPU and frequency and CPU, Open Hardware monitor will show the frequency of all active cores. If it shows 4 your good to go.
