I am looking for this cpu cooler but m not sure of the compatibility with the z97 asus deluxe

I can't imagine that you would have any issue. Check the noctua web site, they have very detailed measurements and compatibility info.

It should fit your board fine, you just need to make sure it clears your ram if the ram has large heat sinks.
