Amazon replacement policy for Gigabyte GTX 780

I have a faulty Gigabyte GTX 780 GHz Edition from amazon. I have had to replace it 3 times already because of an unstable card, so I'm thinking of getting the MSI lightning instead. Will amazon refund replaced items? After I dug down through the invoice, it seems amazon uses an exact change gift card for replacements, so will they refund me a gift card?

Your best bet is to call them. Amazon is really good with this sort of thing so I doubt you will have a problem getting a proper refund.

I don't think most people are getting it. I got the card for $500 with credit card, and replaced it twice for free. I have the option to return it or replace it, but the invoices of the replacements show that it was paid for by gift card and the total cost was $0. If I return the latest replacement "$0" will they actually refund me?
