Graphics buggy on Genymotion, didn't used to be.

Hey guys, so I use Genymotion for Clash of Clans (don't judge me, ha), because it's nicer sometimes to have the bigger screen. Bluestacks doesn't work for me so that's not an option for my issue either, sorry.

Anyway, at first it was fairly glitchy - the screen would bounce and lag around when I tried to move it, the little unit animations would jump and lag as well. I can't remember exactly why, though if I recall correctly I was sort of forced to download a driver for my NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M graphics card, I had always thought my graphics card was integrated but I clicked okay. Again, I can't remember 100% if this is what solved the issue before (I want to make that clear). All I know is that a few things happened:

1) At some point I downloaded the nvidia software crap
2) At some point my graphics using Genymotion improved considerably
3) I removed the nvidia graphics driver because I *DO* have an integrated graphics card, so I thought perhaps the nvidia wasn't actually nvidia and was instead a clever virus/trojan/malware. (My computer started doing weird things after I downloaded genymotion, like the wireless card shutting off until I restarted my computer completely, still does it, still have no idea why)
4) Immediately upon removing it the glitchy jumpiness returned to genymotion, but everything else works pretty fine.
5) I reinstalled nvidia and the glitchiness hasn't stopped.

I checked my computer and I DO have two graphics cards, apparently. My question is, is it now using my integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 for Genymotion, which is why it's jumpy? Is it some other known issue? Can I solve this? I searched ALL over the internet about fixes for genymotion, and nothing. A few mention it's "too glitchy and laggy to use" but there's no one that I can find who's asked the question "How do I fix this lag?" and certainly no answers to it, though it is apparently a common problem.

Anyone got a fix? Appreciate it guys.

As far as my level of tech understanding - I know how to navigate my computer, and I can fix things with someone troubleshooting me, but I have 0 technical experience so anything remotely advanced I may need a bit of extra coaching.

EDIT: I have a laptop, it's an acer Aspire V3-771 with intel i7 64 bit. Windows 8. Any other specs ask me and I'll let you know.

SECOND EDIT: So I did some researching around as far as "two graphics cards" goes, and apparently people get picky about what a graphics card actually is. I'm aware that integrated isn't a real graphics card, however a computer *can* function with only an integrated, and that's what I thought my computer had. Once I deleted the driver and all programs associated with the nvidia graphics card the problem with the game appeared, and when I reinstalled them, it didn't go away. That's my issue.

Solution
So I figured it out myself. Someone may have a more technical way of doing this, or may know the exact path, but here's what I did, in case someone Google's the same issue and runs across this thread:

1) Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel (*not* NVIDIA experience). I assume it would be a similar process for other graphics drivers/cards as well. For me I can access it by either right clicking my desktop or it's one of the tiny icons in the pull-out box by the clock/volume/network connections, etc.
2) Click on "Manage 3D settings" in the left box.
3) Click on "Program Settings" in the right box.
4) Under "Select a program to customize" select "Add"
5) Search for your Genymotion folder.
6) Here's where the solution is a bit dicey, as I did...

5) Search for your Genymotion folder.
6) Here's where the solution is a bit dicey, as I did several things and I'm not 100% sure which one made it work. Essentially I searched for all the .exe files under the Genymotion folder and the VirtualBox folder and forced the graphics onto NVIDIA instead of the integrated card. Opened up Genymotion/Clash of Clans, and it worked fine. Again I'm not sure if it was the Virtal Box .exe, the Genymotion main .exe, or there were several other .exe's under the Genymotion folder, and I selected all of those "just in case." Runs great now.

If you're running into the same problem and you have integrated graphics as well as a more high-end graphics card, and genymotion is too jumpy, try this, see if it works! Good luck guys!

Another possible fix that probably would have worked was reinstalling Genymotion, as it seemed to have "auto-assigned" it to my integrated after the high-end was unavailable, and was then stuck on the integrated afterward. Seems logical that a reinstallation would have fixed the issue as well, as the computer/driver would have recognized the need for the better card upon opening. Not sure.
