while removing my heatsink the thermal paste attached pulled the processor out of the socket, would that hurt the motherboard or processor? and now the screen wont show anything, i tested it outside the case and it worked but now it doesnt any suggestions?

^I've done the same thing with a Phenom II and it was unharmed. Clear your CMOS and try starting it with no memory installed like Buck suggested... it should give you the POST error code for a memory failure. If not, there might actually be something damaged, but we'll take it from there.

This happened with my Athlon when it wasn't fully connected. I would suggest taking out RAM and starting it. Do you hear 3 beeps?
