Can i put SLI on MB z77-DS3H

So some of my friends were tellign me that i can,and some were telling me that only supports CrossFireX...So now i need the real answer

No you cannot sli. The reason is your second slot is x4.

It wont be able to support SLI or true Xfire. You need two PCIex16 lanes at at least x8 mode, you have 1 x16, and 1 x4.

If i try putting 2 way SLI,will something happend to the second card or the MB?

Nothing would happen to the hardware, but the x4 lane has 1/4 the bandwidth that it should. So your second card would be running at a reduced performance level.

It won't even let you enable sli. You can have the card in and it'll work fine though.
