Mobo for i5 4670k ?

I am going to buy i5 4670k for gaming (Specially Battlefield series)

Get the newer board the Z97.

The ram is a good choice.

If ya have the money, get the Z97 MoBo (few bucks more) and 4690k (same price). If money's tight ya can save a pretty good chunk of change with Z87. So either go :

MSI Z87 GD65 w/ 4670k and 2 sticks of RAM
MSI Z97 GD65 w/ 4690k and 2 sticks of RAM

Since the price is about the same I'd get the Z97 mobo. Both mobos should perform about the same but the Z97 has some newer features.

Also, the RAM is solid.

Conclusion
There is not much that is different between the two chipsets so if you have an existing custom or gaming PC I recommend you don't run out the door trying to get your hands on a new Z97 motherboard as the new features are not going to be worth it to 99% of people. The biggest difference with this update will come from the CPU's - 4th generation Vs 5th Generation rather than a Z87 VsZ97 as both CPU generations are both forward and backward compatible.

If you are buying or building a new custom computer then given the small price difference between the two, a Z97 based motherboard should be your weapon of choice as it will give you that little bit more future proofing......you never know, MSATA may become the 'norm' and without Z97 in your life you will struggle to adapt to the ever changing industry.

No SATA Express support in new Z97?

I might SLI my GTX 770 later, so it might effect it ?

He is buying in India so newegg prices are irrelevant. If you follow OP's links you would see the prices and I understand why I said they are priced about the same. Rs. 14,000 and 14,400.
