I am building a computer http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NytTzy

My final part finally come in to best buy and I am picking it up tomorrow. AS you can see I have a 256gb card already from Adata but since i had some trouble with my order I have a 10% discount at best buy so was going to pick up an additional hard drive.

So my options are to opt for a hhd 1tb or pick up the samsung 840 evo 250gb. Its 130 dollars at the moment and so I would get it for around 117. This computer is for gaming. I do have media on my current computer set up but I also Have a home cloud with 3tb to store my media.

Since I have not used the SSD before I am wondering if they chain together like the hdd. Or is it best to just get hdd for half the price and set it to slave?

SSD's don't improve gaming performance but will significantly improve loading times. If the drive is for games, go for HDD. SSD's are more for boot drives.
