I've just ordered a Anker Astro E4 13000mAh Portable Power Bank charging station from amazon, i thought it would be great for charging my phone on the go. But i have one question, i use a huawei mobile wifi hotspot too, will i be able to safely charge this using the anker power bank too? on the listing on amazon it lists all the phones it can charge but nothing else. The hotspot is a 1900mah battery and it says 4.2v right beside that. Would i blow the thing up if i tried charging it this way?

As long as your device can charge from USB(USB ports should give about 5 volts.) it should be ok.

This device just replaced a wall charger or computer based USB port.

How do you normally charge the Hotspot?

If it's just a USB connector then you are fine. I assume it is since that's pretty much standard now (5V USB charging).

Some devices come with their own proprietary AC charging units.
