Strict budget $1500 gaming pc

Hi I am looking to build my first rig. I game ALOT. I have all peripherals and accessories needed. I am using all money for strictly the tower. I would like an i7 and a gtx770 for my gpu, other than that i am open to any suggestions. I want this build to last 5 plus years so I want to make sure it is quality hardware and I dont want to skimp on anything that is vital to the longevity such as cooling and power supply. I would love any constructive feed back.

Well I mean he said 5 years, so that's where I got it from. Now, with the fact that he only has a 1500 budget, do you really think a new haswell - e with a new x99 motherboard (which are the most nearby cpus/mobos that support ddr4) along with ddr4 (literally, ALL three of those are going to be expensive af) is going to happen? No. So ddr4 is out of the question unless he plans to build like a year or so from now when cpus and mobos that support ddr4 are more affordable and user common, minimum. That being said, if he wants to build now, especially with ddr4 coming out soon, the best way to future proof a build using ddr3 against ddr4 is simply to add more ram imo. Just using the info he gave us here. Also some games use nearly 4gb, so...

This seems within your budget. I know you said gtx 770, but the r9 290 surpasses that card and even rivals the 780 for the title of better card. Also, everyone else here seems to be skimping on RAM which is definitely going to have a 16gb standard within the 5 years that you want this computer to last, so there you go.
(Bonus: The build is blue/black color schemed)

So you bring up a ''standard within 5 years'' thing..not sure where you got that from, but in any case DDR 4 is right around the corner, so its a moot point anyway. 8GB is enough for gaming as it stands and for the foreseeable future, hell even 4GB is still plenty for gaming.

i7 4790k > i7 4770k for same budged, especially if you don't intend overclocking.
1866mhz ram shouldn't cost more than 1600mhz, go with that. Aside of that, what's mentioned in other posts.
Edit: the one of ice would be what I'd go for.
