Hello guys, short question here!

I recently bought the BenQ XL2411Z monitor to replace my old one that broke a couple of days ago, I am really happy with the improvement from 60 to 144 Hz since I am quite a competitive FPS gamer. Anyway, after playing for about an hour my screen starts to produce some warmth, that I felt when I moved my hand close to the screen. It not warm at all on the back of the monitor, just the screen itself seems to produce the heat. I have never felt it with my old monitor but than again, the BenQ is a lot better. Is it normal for these monitors to produce more heat than cheaper, 60 Hz ones?

Thanks in advance,

KnDpt

while i have yet to own a benq, some of my clan mates (we play fps too, bf4) owned 120/144 and i have not heard them complain about any heat issues.
i also own a 120hz, but a samsung, and not it is not hot, as thin as the screen is. you can have them check maybe? since it is just new
