I was trying to uninstall Internet Download Manager, which required a restart. Instead of booting back up, I got a black screen after the Windows logo. I have an Acer Aspire 5749 and Windows Home. I can get into Safe Mode. The Startup Repair, and everything else for that matter, seems to be working and going through and finishing, but when it goes to start up, the same thing happens. Please help, I'm not great with computers.

Solution
Boot your system from bootable USB stick with linux or anything that can boot the system, so you can backup all the important files from your C drive (if any). If you have nothing important on your C drive, the best solution is to perform a clean reinstall of Windows.
