Punkbuster and VAC

So I recently purchased Black ops 2 on steam which has VAC support.
On my gaming PC I have Punkbuster (another anti-cheat software) installed, and I was wondering if they would conflict?
Black ops 2 doesn't support Punkbuster and as I am not sure how PB works, I am slightly worried that by having it installed, VAC might report it as a false positive.
Any opinions?

Solution
PB, like VAC, will only work with games that have it enabled. Having it installed on your system simply means that, should anything request its services, your machine knows how to respond.

You won't have any issues. I played BO2 more than 800 hours with PB installed and no issue whatsoever.
