Seems you are correct! Sorry about that! Seems rather stupid they would not include that functionality to a higher end product of those that do have it. Very strange. Good news though, there are still selectable fan speeds. I'm assuming it's by pushing the button on the waterblock like you used to with the old H100 and H80, so everything is still fine

Do you think it might be worth it to get the h100i jusft for C link? It does have selectable fan speeds unless i use bios
