Need a new monitor fast. Last one just died.

From what I read it seems the TN monitors in the benq and the asus have shit colors compared to the samsung. If that is true I think i rather have better image quality and lose 1 frame than have shit image quality on one of the TN panels. Is this true at all?

If you really don't care about performance and want image quality you should look at MVA, and IPS/PLS panels. Though, TN panels of today are vastly superior to the ones you would have been purchasing years ago. So if your existing one that died was more than just a couple of years old then you are probably going to be pretty happy with it's performance no matter what you pick.

My kids machine has one of the BenQ MVA panel monitors on it and the static contrast ratio is something like 4000:1 or something and the details that it shows are pretty great. Some people complain about input lag on them, but I haven't noticed it being all that bad and they are really cheap for the image quality.

It isnt that I dont care about performance it is that I dont care when it isnt noticeable. I rather have good color quality out of the samsung than poor asus color quality. I have tried many asus new monitors and the colors are always washed. Is the samsung that much worse for gaming than the asus is? I just dont think it is possible unless you are playing professional.
