Setting up x2 routers with the same SSID.

Good Afternoon,

Thank for your advice in advance!

I currently have x1 router connected to the Inernet which has x2 routers connected by Ethernet cable which are placed at each side of a medium size office.

My question is how would I set the routers up with the same SSID so that when one person walks from one end of the office to the other it will then pickup the other router's signal?

I understand you can repeat a signal? But I need them both on Ethernet because of where they are located so I get maximum quality.

Thank you.

So you have 3 routers total? One as the "main" router and two that you use to extend your wireless network through the office?
If the above is correct then:
Make sure DHCP is turned off on the 2 "remote" routers
Connect your Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports on the 2 "remote" routers
Set the SSID and password on the 2 "remote" routers the same as the SSID and password on your "main" router.
If you are using 2.4Ghz wireless make sure you use only channels 1,6, and 11.
Make sure your three routers are using different channels (1,6, and 11).
That should be it.
