It might be something with motherboard?

Hello there nice people,

Something quite strange is heppening when I turn on my computer now.

I've installed Enermax liqmax 120s water cooling system, and what manual says, you connect both pump and radiator fan to motherboard (4 pin). Ofcourse, radiator fan is connected to cpu fan on motherboard and pump to pwr connector (which doesn't matter that much).

Problem is when I turn on my computer, I'll try to explain like this :

When you make some modifications in bios, some systems shuts down then they turns on and starts normaly and some just restarts. Now with watercolling connected, when I turn on computer, it shuts down 2 seconds then turns on and then after 2 seconds it shuts down again, and after that, 3rd time in turns on, it boots normaly.

When I plug off both pump and cpu cooler, it starts from 1st time. Does it have something with power consumation over motherboard ? It doesn't give that much power? Also, no logic in that since it boots normaly 3rd time.

Your opinion?

Best regards,
Zetra

So - is this simply something you see after changing something in the bios?

Does this function as expected normally?

If this is the case - it is likely something with a full reset/establishment of bios when saved and re-booted.

If this is occuring at normally boots then it is a concern.

Hello Avarice,

Thank you for your asnwers. I found out what problem was...

Stand-offs between bracket and pump... It's quite big and when you connect all together it makes short circuit on motherboard, which is bus that leads to 1st slot to memory.

I'm dissatisfied that Enermax wasn't thinking about that.

Thank you for trying to help.
