Hello, I finally decided to upgrade my old radeon 5770 to something new. As you can see I don't do upgrades often so card should last for 3-4 years. The card will be used for 1080p gaming. I've had bad experience with nvidia before (8800 gts fried after 2 years of usage) so I'm not sure if I want to get their cards, but if it will offer better performance then I can consider getting one.
I was looking at ASUS R9290-DC2OC-4GD5 but some people say there is temperature and other issues on some cards and there is no cooling on memory chips at all so I'm not sure about it.
My current PC:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k
MB: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
RAM: 16GB
PSU: 700w
