Is there any way to install Windows (preffer XP) on external hard drive or USB flash drive? The second one has 35 mb/s data transfer and hard disk 110 mb/s transfer. Both have enough space to install every windows. I just want windows installed on removable device (to work without hard drive inside pc). So is there any way to do this? Thanks.

PS sorry, if my English is bad

No, you cannot. This is due to limitations on your flash drive communicating with the rest of the components in your system. Linux can be, but not Windows. Too complex.

incorrect. you can in fact install windows on a flash drive (at least you can install windows 7 or 8 on a flash drive, never heard of windows xp being installed on one)

not sure why you would want to. flash drives (thumb drives) aren't exactly dependable, SATA3 is faster, and external hard drives are VERY slow. furthermore, windows won't like being plugged into another computer, and likely wouldn't load... though if its an identical pc in every respect and you're not using an OEM version of windows, it might work.

I actually wanted to do this myself once, read some guides that said it wouldn't, some that said it would. Tried many times to do it, no success.
