I bought an i7 3930k and now i need a cooler. I will use this for video editing and some gaming (like crysis 2, 3, etc). I would like to overclock to 4.0k Ghz, not more. What kind of cooler is good for this? i was thinking on a Frio OCK (Thermaltake). I have an EVGA X79 FTW and i am going to buy 4x4 GB RAM. I have a Silent Pro M2 720 Watts and a Matrix HD 5870.

It is important to note that the 3930k produces a lot of heat, but this isn't an extreme overclock. At 4.0 GHz, which is a very mild overclock, the 212 EVO will be fine. If needed a second PWM fan can be added in a push / pull configuration for additional cooling capacity (and still half the cost of the D14). If you have the budget, just go straight to the Noctua and don't look back.
