Will a PCI e 3.0 GTX 750 work on my motherboards PCI E 2.0 slot

I want to get a GTX 750 for my PC build. My motherboard has a x16 pcie 2.0 and it says the GTX 750 uses 3.0. But is it possible to use it on my motherboard and if it is how much performance will I be loosing?

    Yes it will , 100% The slots are backwards compatible , you don't lose hardly any performance.
