Yes, 500w is plenty more than enough for that GPU.

Yes the EVGA 500W IS more than enough power the 265.

It has 40 amps on the 12v rail which is plenty for a 265.

What case will it be going in? It is a pretty small GPU so it should fit in most cases.

3.3" x 5.9" x 5.5" (H x W x L) < 500B

3.4" x 5.9" x 5.5" < HP usually has a OEM sized ATX

Should fit:

It is ALOT less powerful than the 265.

Also, it should clear just fine. The GPU PCB is always VERY close to the RAM slots on OEM boards. They would never design a board where it would not work though. I'm pretty confident that a longer card will have zero issues fitting.

ill see what happens thanks for the help the ram slots are slightly below the gfx slot so it might just work

EDIT: this gtx 750 ti will fit most likely and its in my budget range http://www.microcenter.com/product/429764/02G-P4-3753-K...
