I just finished my first build and I tried powering it on but it keeps restarting as soon as I press the start button.

I'm using a Gigabyte Z87-DS3H Motherboard and an i5 4460. I tried removing the graphics card but the same issue persists.

Cant be exactly sure but its probably your PSU. Corsair CX series PSUs are horrible. Good for the price and for entry level builds but I would never get one for a build with anything above an i3 and a GT 740

Hi. Well, I tested out my current PSU and it works fine. I then found out that the motherboard was faulty and i've sent that in to Gigabyte for a repair. As for the best solution in this thread, I misclicked on an iPad.

well, when this happened my first thought was the motherboard. my very first boot, it went into load bios defaults but crashed. and now it just keeps turning on and off at the start not doing anything. i swapped the graphics card as its the only thing i got spare.

my psu is a corsair RM650 and its only running a fun build of parts i got off ebay including the psu. just and i3 4130, 4GB RAM, nVidia 460. my board is also a gigabyte, ga-h81m-ds2v to be exact.

im gona take everything out the case and test, as its in the bitfenix phenom m so very tight in there. lucky if it is the mobo it only cost me £20
