This will be my first time building my own pc so I already asked around Tom's Hardware about what I should use. I finally got all parts I need in order to run the PC (other then the monitor) I was wondering how well this pc build would do in todays games (battlefield 4, titanfall, etc) and if there are any better and cheaper items that I could replace.

My budget lies for around $900 like this build. :)

In BF4 the CPU will hold you back being a dual core, but you can expect solid medium settings. Titanfall will be much the same. In less CPU dependent games, you could expect higher settings like a mix of mostly high settings in a game like Farcry3 or Max settings in older games like Skyrim.

I assume OP wants to play multiplayer, where the i3 will hold him back a bit. SIngle player will be much better, but multiplater is where a quad core is really needed.

ALso, I cannot find a benchmark where the i3 beats an 8350 in BF4. Here is a GOOD RELIABLE one where the 8350 beats the i3 by almost 10fps. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-4-graphics-card-performance,3634-10.html

That is with a gtx Titan, so OPs bottleneck will be much less, but as it stands the i3 will not beat the 8350 in multiplayer BF4. Sorry. Won't happen.

I have an 8320, just haven't updated my SIG. Of course people would buy other CPUs even if the i3 could overclock. There are plenty of places a dual core just doesn't cut it. Some games prefer per core speed, and others prefer number of cores. There are games where an 8350 beats an i7. It is all relative.
