will a Sapphire AMD R7 265 Graphics Card run on a 480w psu?

will a Sapphire AMD R7 265 Graphics Card run on a 480w power supply?
Also in my computer i have 2 Hard Drives if that makes any difference.

what power supply?............... and if you don't have the card yet......... there a 6970 for 99 bucks at newegg today.

Its the CiT 480W 12cm Silent Fan Dual Rail Power Supply - Black Edition,
and no i don't have the graphics card yet.

couldn't get a good look at one but is it 23amps under the 12v?......... if it is forget it. has enough trouble running a system without a card in it.

That PSU manufacturer is listed under tier 5 on the PSU tier chart. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

Tier 5 is defined as "Tier five - Replace immediately. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit "

So I would suggest upgrading your PSU to a higher tier before looking into a GPU upgrade.

yes, some people like them. they appear to have the right power.
