Hi guys, This is my very first gaming build. I have a $2000 budget and this is it so far. Since this is my first build, I know very little about compatibility of parts and I am not sure if I am missing anything that would make my gaming experience better. (I am aware I do not have a monitor as part of my build. I have one at home.)

Seems fine to me, although you'd be better served just going for an 840 evo in a larger size and just getting a regular 1tb WD black HDD. Raptors are kind of a waste at this point with SSD pricing.

You don't really need 16GB of RAM if you're just gaming.. 2x4GB for 8GB total is perfectly fine. You can take that savings and put it toward a bigger SSD or 780 Graphics card.

Additionally, you could step down to an i5 4690k instead of the i7 to put costs toward a better card as well.

I saw a build similar to this earlier. Looks good but factor in gaming peripherals and software before you buy. If you don't have a , keyboard/mouse and OS then the PC will be almost unusable. That should run a good 150 for low to mid end equipment. Also, for storage consider an sshd it has storage, speed, and is priced very well between a hard drive and ssd.

One word of warning: the Cooler Master HAF X Full Tower Case, there is a possibility of some of these cases being manufactured with misaligned PCI slots. What this means is that you won't be able to screw a video card in the case. I had this problem in a build of mine with the Haf X. Maybe you'll get lucky and get a case that has the PCI slots properly aligned.

Thank you for the feedback, do you think that this build would be able to fit into the Cooler Master N600 kwn1 mid tower instead?http://www.coolermaster.com/case/n-series/n600/
